The issues Sterling Park has recently addressed for clients range from pricing to marketing resource allocation to identifying the key product/service attributes that can combine most powerfully with a brand to create competitive advantage. Debra has more than 25 years of marketing and management experience in large corporations, resulting in a unique combination of expertise in direct marketing and customer relationship management as well as branding and advertising. She is known for her ability to analyze and find strategic and practical solutions for critical business problems and put the solutions into effect. In short, a nuts and bolts visionary. Prior to joining Sterling Park, Debra was a Board Member at Systems and Computer Technology Corp (SCTC) and a consultant at EMM Group. Debra also led marketing groups in Financial Services including American Express where she introduced the Platinum Card, ran Green and Gold Card retention and developed Management Information Services domestically, before running all Card Marketing in Canada. She was EVP of Marketing at American Express/Shearson, and a Managing Director at UBS. In addition, she served as CMO/Managing Director for CSFBdirect, online brokerage, where she led the repositioning and rebranding of the business after its acquisition from DLJ. Debra also has expertise in marketing telecom and information services. She was CMO at Dow Jones Telerate, and was an SVP in charge of an over $4 billion budget at AT&T during the telecom wars. Debra began her career with 9 years of solid brand management experience at Procter & Gamble and International Playtex.
