David Kemper - Member at LargeDavid Kemper is President of KemperStrategy, Inc. He is a successful marketer, sales professional, engineer, and program manager and is one of about 300 people in this country who has achieved “Professional Certified Marketer” certification by the American Marketing Association, an association of marketing professionals with over 38,000 members worldwide. He is a dynamic and effective business growth leader with a track record of success, with particular effectiveness aligning, motivating and leading teams of professionals to achieve organizational growth, increased profitability and stronger cash flow. He founded KemperStrategy, Inc. a business growth consulting firm providing strategic business planning, focused marketing strategies, and effective sales results. Over the last six years, KemperStrategy has achieved high revenue growth and market impact for product-based companies. He leads strategic planning and reorganizations, develops and implements sales and marketing strategies and creates fundable business plans. He operates either as counsel or outsourced executive, depending upon the need of the client. His clients are entrepreneurial companies, ranging from early-stage knowledge-based companies to mid-sized manufacturing firms. David was a member of the second graduating class of the NC School of Science and Math. He earned his BS in Industrial Engineering from NC State University and his MBA from Western Carolina University. He has served on a number of boards and committees involved with identifying and cultivating investment in early-stage knowledge-based companies. He also served as the leader of the American Marketing Association’s B2B Special interest Group for two years, achieving membership of over 1600 marketers. He served as a director of a Wellco Enterprises (AMEX:WLC) and served on a special committee negotiating the sale of the company. He currently serves on the board of directors of Stone Medical Technologies, an early-stage medical device company based in the Chicago area and on the board of advisors of the Western Carolina University College of Business. David lives in Asheville, NC with his wife and two wonderful children. In addition to other volunteer interests, he has a strong commitment to his church and scouting. | ||
