The Profiles by Category tool displays all the profiles in the database sorted by category. Download this report as a CSV (comma-separated values) file, then view and manage it through your usual spreadsheet software or text editor.

The report shows the number of profiles assigned to each profile category, and which states the profiles are in.

A profile may have versions in different states, so the information here doesn't present the number of unique profiles in each category. If your organization allows the same profile to be assigned to multiple categories, the same profile can be listed under different categories.
